Service Update
We are currently experiencing reduced GP capacity due to unforeseen staffing issues. We are working hard to try and source additional doctors in the short-term to avoid this significantly impacting on service delivery. We can assure patients that those with the most urgent clinical need will continue to be prioritised for care.
We would ask all our registered patients to please be patient and kind as we work to improve the situation. All practice staff are working tirelessly to continue providing safe and effective care to our patients.
We ask patients to only contact the practice after considering other healthcare options first and keeping clinical appointments for those most in need.
Advice, care and on many occasions medicine if needed (at no cost) is available from community pharmacies and opticians through Pharmacy First Scotland. NHS Inform can also provide information and self-care advice as well as how to access the Right Care, in the Right Place at the Right Time.
Our sincere thanks go to all patients for their continued support and we will provide further updates when available.
Telephone System
Our telephone system can hold up to and including 40 callers in the call queue at any given time. Once this number has been exceeded, further callers to the practice will experience an engaged tone until callers in the queue go under 40. If you experience this and your call is of an urgent nature, please continue redial until connected. We have three receptionist staff dealing with high demand each morning, and we do our very best answer these calls as quickly and safely as possible.
