Appointments

Making an Appointment

To make an appointment please phone 01382 534301.

The doctors are operating a telephone triage system. All appointment requests will be assessed by a telephone call from a doctor or Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Where they can help over the phone, they will. If an appointment is necessary, the clinicians will arrange this for you.

Please do not attend in person to book an appointment at reception as all appointments must be made by telephone in the first instance.

Remember! In serious emergencies phone 999 for an ambulance!

Daytime non-emergency visits

If you are unable to attend the surgery to see a GP and need a non-urgent home visit, telephone 01382 534301 (Option 1) between 8am and 9am. You will be asked for your name and address and the nature of your problem. A doctor will phone you back to discuss/assess the illness and arrange for either a doctor to visit you on his/her rounds, or provide you with some other form of help.

Daytime emergency visits

Telephone 01382 534301 and state clearly that an emergency visit is required, with the patients details to hand for easy reference. Explain to the receptionist the symptoms and nature of the emergency, and the receptionist will then contact the duty doctor who will decide on the best course of action.
